Hello and WELCOME! We’re Christina and Steven, and Ellie & Becks is inspired by our two kids, Ellis and Beckett.
While shopping for Ellis a few years ago, I came across an Asian baby doll and it dawned on me that it was my first time ever seeing one. That small moment of surprise, from encountering an Asian doll for the first time ever in over 35 years, finally made me take notice of the huge lack of representation in the kids retail space, a space that has grown by leaps and bounds over the years.
So, we decided to create a space where diversity was not only featured but championed - a place we could combine our passion for diversity with our love for interiors and design. From carefully curated dolls & books to custom-designed home goods & toys, our items are created with quality & design in mind, to enhance your home’s aesthetic while honoring and supporting the communities of artisans who make them. We aim to foster a sense of recognition and appreciation for different cultures, and showcase the way in which diversity enriches our lives.
